Your expectation plays an important role not only in determining your success and reaching your goals, but also in controlling anxiety and depression. Do you always expect the worse out of the situations or you expect the positive? You need to work on developing a positive mentality and you can achieve this by reprogramming your subconscious mind with positive expectations.

As you probably know that the subconscious mind gets programmed by repetition so the more you repeat positive statements to yourself and really feel the meaning, with constant practice, you will begin to expect the positive out of all situations.

Expressing your emotions doesn’t mean you have to keep dwelling on your negative thoughts 24 hours a day. What it means is for you to release your anger and the held up emotions within you. Take 10 to 15 minutes every day and think about whatever you want that is causing you grief, then shift your focus to what you truly want to achieve in life.
